Versatile and rhythmic are just two words to describe the extraordinary musical talent of 23-year-old Conception Bay South livyer, Renée Batten.
Coming from a strong musical background, Renée is naturally gifted, and her ability to play a wide variety of instruments distinguishes her from most other musicians. At the tender age of four, she began playing the accordion and has since conquered the guitar, bass, fiddle, bodhran, mandolin and banjo, just to name a few.

While obtaining her Music and Recording Art diplomas, Renée teamed up with Terri Lynn Eddy to form a self-titled duo. Together they performed at numerous shows and created quite a stir on the local music scene.
Now a songwriter, rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist in the Terri Lynn Eddy band, Renée's star continues to shine as a multi-talented musician.
